Katia Ultrasoft is a very special organic yarn. Its fine thickness allows you to knit garments for the warmest seasons, such as spring or summer. Create very light cardigans, sweaters, t-shirts or ponchos, made of organic cotton.

It is available in 13 different solid colours perfect to suit all tastes. In addition, it is pleasant to the touch and very comfortable to wear on the skin. Because of its composition, it is a hypoallergenic yarn, perfect for all skin types.

It is certified as an organic yarn by ICEA, the Instituto per la Certificazione Etica e Ambientale (GOTS 2016-012).

In the cultivation of organic cotton, no chemical or toxic products are used, thus favouring the natural cycle of the earth. For this reason, this yarn could be considered as a “vegan yarn”.

What should I know about Katia Ultrasoft?

• Each ball has 50 grams and 190 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 3 – 3,5 mm knitting needles and 3.
• Mount 23 stitches and do 31 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Dry flat.
• Hand wash.
• Do not bleach.

• To knit a long sleeve sweater size 42 you will need 7 balls.
