Lang Yarns presents London, a yarn combining merino wool and acrylic fibers resulting in a warm and high-quality ball. This yarn is characterized by its worsted weight and slightly roving thread. With this yarn you can knit both garments and accessories which will keep you warm in the coldest days of winter.

This yarn presents a very original design. It is available in several colors and thanks to its hairy thread you will knit unique projects.

Lang Yarns London is made of:

  • 70% pure wool
  • 30% acrylic

The pure merino wool comes from the first shearing of a sheep, so this one is characterized by its high quality and thermal properties. When these natural fibers are combined with the synthetic acrylic ones, we get a soft and resistant yarn, perfect for your wintry projects.

Which are the features of this yarn?

  • Each ball has 50 grams and around 100 meters.
  • Its thickness is perfect to work with the 4 – 5 mm knitting needles.
  • Mount 16 stitches and do 23 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
  • Washable at up to 30 ºC with products without bleach.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Iron at up to 110ºC.

Amount of balls needed to:

  • To knit a sweater size S you will need around 500 grams (10 balls).
  • To knit a sweater size XL you will need around 700 grams (14 balls).
  • To knit one long scarf you will need 6-7 balls.
