Mondial Dolomiti

Mondial introduces Dolomiti, a multicolor yarn designed for knitting warm garments and accessories. This yarn is available in an autumnal range of colors providing an original striped effect to your projects.

Its thread is subtly twisted and its thickness changes all along the ball. This way you will get a special finish on your gradient-colored garments. You can use this yarn to knit cozy and warm garments for the whole family!

Mondial Dolomiti is made of:

• 75% pure merino wool
• 25% polyamide microfiber

The pure merino wool stands out for its fineness and excellent thermal properties, perfect to keep you warm during the coldest days of the year. 

These natural fibers have been combined with other synthetic ones of polyamide providing resistance and durability to your garments and accessories.

Which are the features of this yarn?

• Each ball has 150 grams and around 375 meters.
• Its thickness is perfect to work with the 4,5 – 4 mm knitting needles or with the 3,5 – 3 mm crochet hooks.
• Mount 23 stitches and do 28 rows with your 4 mm knitting needles to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
• Washable at up to 30ºC.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Dry flat recommended.
• Iron at up to 110ºC.

Amount of balls needed to:

• To knit a sweater size 10 years old you will need around 300-450 grams (2-3 balls).
• To knit a sweater for women size 38 you will need around 450-600 grams (3-4 balls).
• To knit a sweater for men size 44 you will need around 600-750 grams (4-5 balls).
