Schachenmayr Soft Mix

Schachenmayr Fashion Soft Mix is a thin, warm yarn, perfect for knitting your own autumn/winter clothes.

Soft Mix has a wide range of solid colours, such as dark grey, navy blue, pink and fuchsia, but they also have a white touch that gives them a denim or gradient shape once knitted.

It’s soft and nice yarn. It’s soft and fluffy, so your clothes will be soft but not too thick.

Schachenmayr is made of:

• 45% polyamide
• 30% baby alpaca
• 25% wool

Schachenmayr is a warm fabric made of alpaca and wool fibres, perfect for knitting warm autumn / winter clothes.

This yarn contains alpaca, a soft, fine fibre obtained from the first shearing of the animal.

The polyamide is characterised by its resistance and durability. You will obtain long lasting projects.

You should know that Fashion Soft Mix …

• Each ball has 25 grams and 113 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 4 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• Mount 22 stitches and do 35 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• Do not use the washing machine. Only wash by hand.
• Do not use the dryer. We recommend you to dry it horizontally without hanging out.
• It can’t be ironed.

Amount of balls needed to…

• To knit a warm winter cap, you will need 50 grams (adult) and 25 grams (kid).
• To knit a scarf, you will need 100 grams.
• To knit a kid sweater size 6 years, you will need 200 grams.
• To knit a women sweater size M, you will need 300 grams.
• To knit a men sweater size M, you will need 400 grams.
