Katia Versailles

Katia Versailles Concept is a fine yarn that combines solid colours with a metallic silver strand. This combination of textures will bring an elegant touch to your garments.

This viscose yarn offers an extra soft and light fabric. This yarn has an adequate hang, so it’s perfect for knitting lace clothes, such as knitting or crochet shawls, tops for the summer nights, dresses and many other elegant clothes.

Katia Versailles is made of:

• 97% Viscose
• 2% Polyester
• 1% Polyamide

The majority part of its composition is made of viscose, a fibre that will make polish, soft and bright clothes.

The small percentage of polyester corresponds to the finite metallic strand that is combined with the main strand.

You should know that Katia Versailles…

• Each ball has 50 grams and 100 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 3,5 - 4 mm knitting needles or the 3 – 3,5 mm crochet hooks.
• Mount 22 stitches and do 28 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.   
• It can be washed in the washing machine up to 30ºC. 
• Do not use the dryer. We recommend you to dry it horizontally.
• It can be ironed at a high temperature (110ºC).

Amount of balls needed to…

• To knit a short sleeve sweater, adult size 42, you will need 9 balls approx.
• To knit a crochet shawl, you will need 8-10 balls approx. (depending on the size)
• To knit a lace handkerchief, you will need 4 balls.
