Faszination Schafpate 4-ply by Opal is a yarn presenting 4 plies creating a fine thread very easy to work with. Thanks to its features, this yarn is perfect to knit original and colorful socks, but you can also create other garments or accessories to wear during autumn and winter: sweaters, snoods, mittens, and much more!

Its spectacular design will provide an original marbled effect to your projects. There are 8 different color combinations inspired by the moorland landscapes.

Since 2008, the Opal brand has contributed to the conservation of natural moorlands and its fauna through the Schafpate project supporting those farmers who manufacture wool in a very natural and ecofriendly way. You can even adopt a sheep!

Opal Faszination Schafpate 4-ply is made of:

• 75% pure merino wool
• 25% polyamide

The pure merino wool fibers are characterized by its high quality and they are obtained from the first shearing of a merino sheep. Thanks to this natural fiber, you can knit warm garments and accessories for winter.

These merino fibers are combined with polyamide making this yarn more resistant and durable.

Which are the features of this yarn?

• Each ball has 100 grams and around 425 meters.
• Its thickness is perfect to work with the 2 – 2,5 mm knitting needles.
• Washable at up to 40ºC.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Do not bleach.
• Iron at up to 110ºC.

Amount of balls needed to:

• With only 1 ball you can knit a pair of socks size 44 maximum.
