Opal introduces Xlarge Eispalast 8-ply, a yarn made of high-quality wool and polyamide with which you can knit all type of garments and accessories for winter. Due to its design, this yarn is specially created to knit colorful and original socks, but you can also use it to knit your own sweaters, scarves, cowls, cardigans, and everything you can imagine!

This 8-ply yarn presents a multicolor design inspired by the Hohenzollern castle located in Germany nearby the Opry factory. You will find soft, cold, warm, and cheerful shades. Each color combination represents a different room of this castle: the dancing room, the tower, and more!

Opal Xlarge Eispalast 8-ply is made of:

  • 75% pure wool
  • 25% polyamide

This warm yarn is ideal for winter. The pure wool is obtained from the first shearing of a sheep and is characterized by its thermal properties. Thanks to its superwash treatment, the small hair has been removed to make these fibers more pleasant to the touch.

This yarn is washing-resistant!

The polyamide will provide resistance and durability to your projects.

Which are the features of this yarn?

  • Each ball has 150 grams and around 320 meters.
  • Its thickness is perfect to work with the 4-5 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
  • Washable at up to 40ºC.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not bleach.
  • Iron at up to 110ºC.
