Katia Big Alabama

Big Alabama by Katia yarns is a thick yarn, very practical for all kind of garments, accessories and complements. With it, you can knit sewing pieces like pulls, sweaters, dresses, cushions, bags or more. It is used to knit accessories for your house.

This yarn is thought to knit cool garments for spring and summer and accessories for your house.

The yarn Katia Big Alabama is made by:

• 60% Cotton
• 40% Acrylic

This composition gives an homogeneous, smooth and soft finish. It does not contain hairs thus your sewing pieces will have perfect ends. The cotton is a cool and sweet natural fibre, perfect to make clothes for kids and for adults.

You should know that Katia Big Alabama...

• Each ball has 50 grams and 80 metres.
• Due to its thickness, we recommend you  to work with the 5 - 6 mm knitting needles or with the 4½ - 5 mm crochet hooks.
• To knit a pull size 42, you will need 8 balls.
• To make a 10 x 10 cm square, mount 14 stitches and do 19 laps.
• It can be washed by machine at 30ºC and it can be ironed at 110ºC maximum.

It is available in a large range of different colours to choose your favourite tone. There are 30 different colours.

Due to its thickness this yarn is knitted quickly. In a short time you will have finished your sewing piece.
