CROSS STITCH KIT - THE LACEMAKER – DMC

The Cross Stitch Kit - The Lacemaker by DMC allows you to embroider one of the best known paintings of the Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer in cross stitch. This kit is part of the collaboration between DMC and the Louvre Museum, and contains all the necessary materials to recreate this beautiful work of art.

The kit design is based on "La Encajera", a famous painting that captures a woman focused on her lace sewing needlework. With this embroidery kit, you can recreate every detail of the work and create your own version of this iconic image, which will have dimensions of 30 x 35 centimeters once finished.

The kit includes aida fabric of 5.5 points per centimeter in white, which provides an ideal surface for embroidery. Also included are 18 skeins of 2 meters and 27 skeins of 8 meters by DMC Mouliné embroidery yarn in a wide range of colors, allowing you to capture every tone and nuance of the original paint. With the embroidery needle included, you can make each stitch with precision and detail.

In addition to the materials, the kit also contains a black and white graphic with detailed explanations, which will guide you through the entire embroidery process. Its difficulty level is expert, so you should have knowledge in cross stitch embroidery.
