Drops Sky

Drops Sky – Garn Studio is a soft and spongy yarn almost made of alpaca, merino wool and polyamide.

Its strand has been twisted in a tubular shape, making it a warm, light and spongy yarn. This yarn is perfect for knitting large projects, clothes and accessories, such as blankets, ponchos, jackets, sweaters, scarves, snoods or caps.

Drops Sky is made of:

• 74% Alpaca
• 18% Polyamide
• 8% Merino Wool

The combination of its fibres offers an extra soft fabric ideal for the skin. It also has thermal properties, so it will keep you warm, even if it’s a light fabric.

You should know that Drops Sky…      

• Each ball has 50 grams and 190 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 4 mm knitting needles.
• Mount 21 stitches and do 28 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• It can be washed in the washing machine up to 30ºC.
• Do not use the dryer and the iron. 
• We recommend you to dry it horizontally without hanging out.

Amount of balls needed to…

• To knit a long sleeve sweater size L, you will need 6/7 balls. 
• To knit a shawl of 144 cm x 72 cm, you will need 5 balls.
• To knit snood + cap = 3 balls.  

You will need fewer yarns to knit your projects because it contains many meters.
