Basic Merino Color

Katia Basic Merino Color is a marbled yarn that combines very original colours, perfect to create garments or accessories for any member of the family.

You can make a sweater for children or for you, a colourful cardigan, jackets, dresses, caps, scarves and more clothes with a shiny touch of colour.

Its thickness, composition and texture is the same as Katia Basic Merino wool, a wool from the same range but available in plain colours, so you can combine it with this multicoloured yarn.

Katia Basic Merino Color is made of:

• 52% Merino Wool Superwash
• 48% Acrylic

This fibre’s combination provides a soft, resistant and easy-care yarn. You can wash it in your washing machine and use the dryer without any problems, keeping your clothes intact.

Its touch is very pleasant on the skin because the merino fibre is one of the sweetest and warmest yarns. It will perfectly keep your body temperature.

You should know that Katia Basic Merino Color…

• Each ball has 50 grams and 120 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 3,5 – 4 mm knitting needles or 3 – 3,5 mm crochet hook.
• Mount 22 stitches and do 29 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• It can be washed in the washing machine up to 30ºC.
• It can be ironed at a high temperature (110ºC).
• You can use the dryer.

• Baby – size 3 months, you will need to use 2 balls.
• Baby – size 6-12 months, you will need to use 3 balls.
• Kid – size 8 years, you will need to use 6 balls.
• Women – size 42 years, you will need to use 8 balls.
