Katia Baby Ultrasoft

Katia Baby Ultrasoft is designed for babies and ideal to knit garments and accessories presenting an extremely soft touch. This yarn is available in 12 pastel colors perfect for the littlest ones.

This is the new version of the Baby Soft 3,5 yarn presenting the same features, so you can knit all patterns appearing in the Katia Magazine with this new yarn. It is also suitable to work the patterns needing the Baby Jacquard yarn.

Baby Ultrasoft is extremely soft, and it will protect the skin of the littlest ones at home, as it will not cause any allergies or skin irritations. Your babies will feel very cozy!

Katia Baby Ultrasoft is made of:

• 50% polyamide
• 50% acrylic

Which are the features of this yarn?

• Each ball has 50 grams and 120 meters.
• Its thickness is perfect to work with the 4 – 4,5 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• Mount 21 stitches and do 25 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
• Washable at up to 30ºC.
• Tumble dry at low temperature.
• Iron at low temperature.

Amount of balls needed to:

• To knit a long-sleeved sweater size 6 months you will need around 3 balls.
• To knit a hat for baby size 6 months you will need 25 grams.
• To knit a pair of socks size 6 months you will need 20 grams.
