Lang Yarns Alpaca Soxx 4-ply

Lang Yarns Alpaca Soxx 4-ply is a high-quality yarn made of superfine alpaca and nylon, a combination resulting in a warm, durable, and soft ball.

The superfine alpaca is very soft and more pleasant to the touch compared to other thicker alpaca fibers. These fibers have an Easywash treatment, an enzymatic treatment that prevents the fiber from being treated with environmentally harmful chemicals.

This yarn has the OEKO-TEX®, Bluesign® and Reach certificates. This way we guarantee it is free of chemical and toxic products harmful to the health.

Lang Yarns Alpaca Soxx 4-ply is made of:

• 70% superfine alpaca
• 30% nylon

Which are the features of this yarn?

• Each ball has 100 grams and 390 meters.
• Its thickness is perfect to work with the 2.5 - 3.5 mm knitting needles or crochet hook.
• Mount 30 stitches and do 41 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
• Washable at up to 40ºC.
• Iron at low temperature.
• Tumble dry at low temperature.
• Use detergent for delicate garments without fabric softener.

Amount of balls needed to:

• To knit a long-sleeved sweater size 42 you will need around 5 balls.
• To knit a pair of socks you will need 1 ball.
