Pineapple fibres are extracted from the leaves of the plant, which are usually discarded. To transform them into yarn, an eco-friendly process is used without bleach or harsh chemicals. Instead, natural enzymes are employed to gently clean the fibres. This not only protects the environment but also preserves the natural look and texture of the material.

The result is a yarn with a slightly rustic but soft feel, thanks to the combination of vegetable fibre and lyocell, which adds a subtle shine. Its structure makes it perfect for openwork fabrics and lace patterns, ensuring lightness and breathability for warm days.

Features of Lang Yarns Ananas:

  • Each ball contains 50 grams and 150 metres.
  • Its thickness is suitable for knitting with needles of 4 to 4.5 mm.
  • For a 10 x 10 cm sample, 20 stitches and 28 rows are needed.
  • Wash at a maximum of 30ºC with mild detergent.
  • Iron at gentle temperature.
