Mondial Paris

Mondial introduces Paris, a yarn designed for knitting garments and accessories for the coldest seasons of the year. This yarn combines natural and synthetic fibers, and you will find it very durable. Its thread is very original thanks to its braided plies providing a fluffy effect to it.

This yarn will not itch your skin and is very soft, suitable for the whole family. You can use it to knit sweaters or jackets, but also accessories such as scarves, hats, necks, and more!

Paris presents a special design consisting of plain colors with small colorful specks to provide a marbled color effect to your creations.

Mondial Paris is made of:

• 38% fine alpaca
• 36% acrylic microfiber
• 20% polyamide microfiber
• 6% polyester microfiber

The alpaca is a natural fiber characterized by its warmth. These fibers are combined with acrylic ones to make the ball softer. The polyamide and polyester make its thread more resistant and durable.

Which are the features of this yarn?

• Each ball has 50 grams and around 125 meters.
• Its thickness is perfect to work with the 4,5 – 5,5 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• Mount 17 stitches and do 24 rows with your 5 mm knitting needles to knit a 10 x 10 cm gauge.
• Suitable for handwashing with cold water and with products without bleach.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Do not iron.
• Dry flat recommended.

• To knit a sweater for a 10 year-old kid you will need around 350-400 grams (7-8 balls).
• To knit a sweater for women size 38 you will need around 450-500 grams (9-10 balls).
• To knit a sweater for men size 44 you will need around 550-600 grams (11-12 balls).
