Opal Country 4-ply

Opal Country 4-ply is a thin colorful wool, perfect to knit autumn and winter garments and accessories with marbled colors. You will love this yarn if you like thin and warm clothes

It is composed of a blend of virgin wool and polyamide. It belongs to the "Pullover & Sockenwolle" collection, a line of wools suitable to knit comfortable socks and other types of winter knitting: sweaters, cardigans, hats, gloves, scarves... and much more!

.The polyamide allows the virgin wool to adapt to your shape, making it perfect to fit your feet for the best comfort. Your sweaters will fit your movements perfectly.

This yarn has a soft touch on the skin, it is resistant and does not shrink. Thanks to its Superwash treatment it can be easily washed in your washing machine.

Opal Country 4-ply is made of : 

• 75% Virgin wool 
• 25% Polyamide 

Which are the features of Opal Country wool?

• Each ball has 100 grams and is 425 meters long.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with 2.5 mm needles.
• 4 ply wool.
• Mount 30 stitches and do 42 rows to knit a 10 x 10 cm sample
• Machine washable at 40ºC maximum.
• It can be ironed at 110ºC maximum.
• It is not suitable for tumble drying.

Amount of balls needed to : 

• You will need only 1 ball to knit a pair of adult socks up to size 44.
• To knit a long sleeve sweater size 40 you need 5 balls.
