The Bag Sashiko Kit by Sew Easy includes all the equipment needed to hand-create a large original shoulder bag. The instructions will allow you to make the bag from start to finish.

The Sashiko technique comes from Japan and consists of embroidering natural-coloured geometric figures on an indigo blue background. It is a custom that comes from some indigenous peoples of Japan who could not dress in gaudy colors, so they embroidered their clothes and accessories to make them more cheerful.
