Schachenmayr Casual soft

Schachenmayr Casual Soft is a warm, nice, marbled yarn made of cotton fibres, wool and viscose. It’s perfect for knitting all kind of autumn/winter clothes and accessories, such as caps, scarves, little bags; home accessories, such as pillows, trivets, crafts, etc.

This marbled yarn is characterised by the mixture of white cotton tons with wool, which creates a gradient or denim result.

There are different colours available, perfect for any time of the year, such as mimi pink, ecru colour, green mint or blue tones.

Schachenmayr is made of:

• 73% cotton
• 19% wool
• 8% viscose

Its composition makes it a soft, quilted yarn, so when you wear any kind of clothes with this wool, you’ll feel a pleasant touch.  

 It’s a warm yarn made of cotton that will absorb all body moisture and won’t produce any kind of itching, irritation or redness.

You should know that Casual Soft…

• Each ball has 50 grams and 100 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 4 – 4.5 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• Mount 17 stitches and do 25 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• It can be washed in the washing machine up to 30ºC
• Do not use the dryer. 
• It can be ironed at a low temperature, up to 110ºC.

Amount of balls needed to…

• To knit a warm winter cap, you will need 50 grams.
• To knit a scarf, you will need 150 grams.
• To knit a kid sweater size 6 years, you will need 350 grams.
• To knit a women sweater size M, you will need 500 grams.
• To knit men sweater size M, you will need 650 grams.
