Schachenmayr XL Merino Mix is made of:

• 55% Merino virgin wool
• 45% Acrylic

The merino virgin wool fibres, with thin hairs, will provide flexible garments with a nice touch.
The acrylic fibres will provide a strong and easier care fabric. The combination of these fibres is antipiling, which avoids pilling and bobbles in the fabric.

You should know that Schachenmayr XL Merino Mix…

• Each ball has 100 grams and 250 metres.
• Its thickness is named “light” perfect to knit with the 3 – 4 mm knitting needles or crochet hook.
• Mount 22 stitches and do 30 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• It can be washed in the washing machine up to 30ºC.
• Do not use the dryer.
• It is not suitable for ironing.

Amount of balls to knit…

• A long sleeve sweater size 40, you will need to use 5 balls approx.
• To knit a scarve, you will need to use 1 balls = 150 gr.
• To knit a cap, you will only need to use half a ball = 50 gr.

You can make a combination “scarve + cap” with only 2 balls.
