Scheepjes Metropolis

Scheepjes Metropolis is a thin yarn made of merino extrafine and nylon that has been specially designed to create socks. You can also use it to knit sweaters, cardigans and many other winter garments.

This yarn offers a wide range of colours, perfect to make any colour combination. You can choose your favourite colour or combine different colours at the same time. Combine different colours and get original results!

Its fingering thickness is perfect to knit with the 2,5 mm knitting needles.

Scheepjes Metropolis is made of:

• 75% Merino extrafine
• 25% Nylon

Merino extrafine is a soft, nice and light material that is obtained from the finest hairs of merino sheep. It will maintain your body temperature from the cold.

The Nylon is responsible for making an elastic and resistant strand, which provides comfortable and durable fabrics.

Its strand is made of 4 thin threads that are twisted between them.

You should know that Scheepjes Metropolis…

• Each ball has 50 grams and 200 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 2,5 - 3 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
• Mount 29 stitches and do 45 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• It can be washed in the washing machine up to 40ºC.
• You can use the dryer.
• You can iron this product.

Your fabrics will be easy to care... You can wash them in your washing machine, iron them or dry them by machine!

Amount of balls needed to…

• To knit a pair of socks, you will need to use 2 balls.
• To knit a sweater for women, you will need to use 8 balls.
