Katia Happy Tulle Fabric - Solid

The Katia Happy Tulle - Solid fabric is a tulle fabric available in rolls of 25 metres long and 15 cm wide. It is perfect for crafting creative projects and garments with a lot of flare, such as capes and skirts, as well as costumes and children's accessories.

It is made of polyester and the edges do not fray, so there is no need for oversewing. However, if desired, the edges can be finished with an overlock, zigzag, or French seam for a more professional look.

It is available in a wide range of tones to suit any project.

Recommendations:

• Sew with a Jersey needle, SUK ballpoint thickness 70/80.
• Use a stitch length between 2 mm and 3 mm.
• Lower the presser foot tension if your sewing machine allows it.
• Use a Teflon presser foot to facilitate sewing.
• Once the gathering is done, and it is evenly distributed, you can fix it in place with a straight stitch.
• There is no need to serge as this material does not fray.
• If you wish to finish the seam allowances, we recommend using an overlock or, alternatively, a not too dense zigzag stitch on your sewing machine.
• You can also use French seams for the straight seams to achieve a polished finish.
