The Fabric Soft Knit Gales by Katia Fabrics is a knitted fabric with a Prince of Wales print, a classic design that never goes out of fashion. That's why it's perfect to make garments to wear every winter.

It is perfect for creating autumn and winter outfits for children or adults. Its print is made of a multitude of crossed lines that form squares in two main colours, with a third colour as an outline. This third colour is available in blue or pink, choose your favourite!

Inside of the squares, we can find a houndstooth pattern. You get an original and different design perfect for creating t-shirts, dresses, skirts, trousers and many other original clothes for the little ones or for adults.

This fabric is made of more than 50% viscose, which provides a high softness to the fabric, making the clothes comfortable and pleasant to the touch.

What are the instructions for the fabric Katia Soft Knit Gales?

  • We recommend washing the fabric before creating the garments as it can shrink.
  • Machine washable at 30ºC maximum.
  • Do not iron.
  • Medium temperature dryer.
  • Do not bleach.
  • Dry cleanable.
  • Jersey needle, SUK ballpoint, thickness: 70/80
  • Sew with low tension in the top thread of the sewing machine and a small stitch so that, when you pull the seams, the backstitch does not break. Avoid pulling the fabric when sewing so that the seams do not stretch.
  • If you have an overlock machine, ideal for all types of seam, adjust the differential feed until you see that the fabric is not pulling.
  • Hem with a twin jersey needle.
