This new generation of “second skin” technical fabric is lightweight, flexible, and highly adaptable, making it the best ally for garments that move with every motion.

With a composition of 93% polyester and 7% elastane, it offers durability, elasticity, and a pleasant touch. Its smooth and soft surface makes it ideal for leggings, tops, technical t-shirts, bodysuits, and all kinds of sportswear. Additionally, it is available in 12 colors, from soft pastel shades to vibrant bright colors, so you can find the one that best suits your style or project.

Features of the Katia Sporty Knit Solid Fabric:

  • Composition: 93% Polyester - 7% Elastane
  • Width: 170 cm
  • Weight: 220 g/m²
  • Wash at a maximum of 30ºC.
  • Suitable for tumble drying on a gentle setting.
  • Iron at a low temperature.

Sewing instructions:

  • Sew with a Jersey needle, SUK ballpoint tip size 70/80.
  • Sew with low tension on the upper thread of the sewing machine and a small stitch so that when the seams are stretched, the stitching does not break.
  • Avoid stretching the fabric while sewing to prevent the seams from giving way.
  • If you have an overlock machine, it's ideal for all seams, adjust the differential until the fabric does not stretch.
  • Sew hems with a twin needle for Jersey.
  • Steam or wash before cutting and sewing.
