Valeria di Roma Creta

Valeria di Roma Creta is a marbled yarn with a tweed effect, perfect to knit winter clothes and accessories, such as sweaters, scarves and caps.

Its strand is divided in two threads that are twisted between them and combines different shades of the same colour.

You will also find small colour specks along the ball.

This marbled collection has many different colours available, such as blue, red, green, mustard yellow, pink and lilac.

Valeria di Roma Creta is made of:

• 65% wool
• 20% polyamide
• 12% acrylic
• 3% viscose

Its composition combines many fibres of different materials, such as wool, polyamide, viscose and acrylic fibres.

The majority of Creta is made of wool fibres, making it a very warm fabric.

This yarn is an easy-care fabric because the polyamide and acrylic fibres makes it a resistant fabric, suitable for the washing machine and iron.

Vinci Merino contains OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificate that ensures that this thread is tested to avoid containing harmful substances.

You should know that Valeria di Roma Creta…        

• Each ball has 100 grams and 115 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 6 – 7 mm knitting needles.
• Mount 11 stitches and do 17 laps with the 6.5 mm knitting needles to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• It can be washed in the washing machine up to 30ºC.
• Do not use the dryer. We recommend you to dry it horizontally without hanging out.
• It can be ironed at a low temperature, up to 110ºC.

• To knit a long sleeve sweater size 42, you will need 4 - 5 balls.
