Alaska by Katia Yarns is a basic yarn of this brand, it has a medium-high thickness and it is available in a big variety of colours to combine them the way you want and make your  autumn and winter clothes.

The yarn Katia Alaska is made by:

  • 100% Acrylic.

Being its composition 100% Acrylic, it is extremely soft and nice. You can knit a lot of sewing pieces that gives you softness and sweetness, also they will be really sheltered.

You should know that Katia Alaska...

  • Each ball of this yarn contains 100 grams and around 150 metres.
  • This yarn has a medium-high  thickness so, is recommendable to use the 6 - 6½ mm knitting needles.
  • To knit a long sleeves pull size 42, you will need 6 balls.
  • To knit a 10 x 10 cm square, using the 6 mm knitting needles, you should mount 12 stitches and work 16 laps.
  • You can put the sewing piece in the washing machine, and washed it at 30º, and also you can iron at 110ºC maximum.

It is a yarn with a big range of tones to choose that you like.
