Katia Melody

Melody by Katia yarns are speckled colours yarn balls with a beautiful colour combination. Your sewing pieces will be speckled beginning with a dark colour to the lighter one of the same range.

This yarn is specially thought for those who like the subtle and soft colour mixtures, because the colour changes offered by this yarn are really soft.

Its strand is really light and fluffy due to its plait, that offers a fluffy but light strand.

These balls allow you to knit  clothes and complements using less grams.

With just one ball you will be able to knit a collar and with 2 balls, a shawl.

We recommend to use this yarn for both, kids and adults.

The yarn Katia Melody is made by:

• 90% Pure Merino Wool
• 10% Polyamide

The merino wool offers an excellent touch, really soft and nice, so your clothes will be really nice to wear in autumn and winter.

This extra fine fibre is hypoallergenic, it prevents des irritations and stinging on your skin.

These fibres are super thin, so they offer a better texture and quality, but also lightness. Your clothes will be really comfortable to wear.

You should know that  Melody by Katia...

• Each ball has 100 grams and 280 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 5.5 - 6 mm knitting needles or the 4.5 -5 mm crochet hooks.
• To knit a long sleeves pull size 42 you will need 3 balls.
• To knit a collar you just need one ball.
• For a shawl you will need 2 balls.
• To knit a poncho you will need 4 balls,
• You have to mount 15 stitches and 21 laps to have a 10 x 10 cm square.
• We recommend you to wash it by hand to preserve its properties.
• You can iron it at low temperatures.
• Do not dry it in the dryer.
• We recommend you to dry it horizontally.

This yarn is made by pure merino wool, so it has an excellent quality and a beautiful colouring due to its speckled colours. It is perfect to knit all kind of complements, clothes or accessories.
