Katia Velvet Fine

Velvet Fine of Katia yarns is a yarn with a velvet effect that provides greater brightness on your work. This thin velvet yarn is recommended to knit with the 3 – 3.5 mm knitting needles or 2.5 – 3 mm crochet needles.

Velvet yarns have an uniform and fluffy finish getting smooth, warm and comfotable textures.

Velvet provides a bright and elegant finish. Its colours highlight the smooth effect of velvet polyester. The polyester fiber is very resistant and it can be washed in the washing machine.

This kind of polyester offers a smooth and nice finish, perfect when coming into contact with your skin. It is very warm for your autumn and winter works. In addition, its lightness will make your clothes more comfortables.

You should know that Velvet Fine of Katia yarns…

• Each ball has 50 grams and 160 mettres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 3 – 3½ mm knitting needles or with the 2½ - 3 mm crochet needles.
• To knit a pair of socks for an adult size 42 you will need just 6 balls.
• Mount 18 stitches and do 28 laps to knit a 10 x 10 square.
• The yarn is suitable to be washed in the washing machine at 30ºC.
• The yarn is suitable to be ironed at 110ºC.
• Do not dry it in the dryer.
• We recommend you to dry it horizontally.
