Schachenmayr Cordelo

Schachenmayr Cordelo is a bulky and soft yarn due to its beautiful plaited fibers. It has a great sponginess and a nice finish with an original texture.

Its fiber is plaited with knitted chains making a light and fluffy little cord.

The yarn is perfect to knit clothes and accessories both for women and men, such as sweaters, jackets, waistcoats, winter ponchos, scarfs, foulards, shawls, atc.

TheSchachenmayr Cordelo is made by:

• 68% Acrylic
• 18% Yarn
• 9% Alpaca
• 5% Polyamide

This combination of fibers provides warm, smooth and lightweight clothes. The Alpaca fiber provides a fluffy touch with these balls.

Both the alpaca and the yarn are excellent thermic regulators that will keep you warm in the colder seasons.

You should know that Schachenmayr Cordelo yarn…

• Each ball has 50 grams and 90 mettres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 9 - 10 mm knitting needles.
• To knit a long sleeve sweater size M you will need 500 grams.
• To knit a scarf you will need 150 grams.
• To knit a cap you will need 50 grams.
• Mount 15 stitches and do 23 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• This yarn is suitable to be washed in the washing machine at 30ºC.
• Do not dry it in the dryer.
