Valeria di Roma Merino Extra

Merino Extra by Valeria di Roma is a thin, light and warm yarn, made by a combination of superwash merino fibre and acrylic dralon. That gives a soft and nice texture in contact with the skin.

This kind of yarn is recommended to knit sewing pieces for babies, kids and adults. It can be used to knit pulls, dresses, jackets or bodies, but also for scarfs or caps and accessories like plaids and more.

Its plain colours offer hundreds of different combinations. You can combine them as you want or just knit plain pieces.

The yarn Valeria Di Roma Merino Extra is made by:

• 60% Merino Wool
• 40% Acrylic dralon®

This yarn has two different treatments: dralon® that gives softness, better quality and resistance to its strand; and the Superwash treatment, that offers a yarn really easy to wash in the washing machine without any problème, preserving its natural fibres.

This fibre combination offers and excellent quality yarn with a nice touch and really comfortable to wear in winter days.

This yarn has lots of thermique qualities. It will keep you warm in the coldest autumn and winter days.

You should know that Merino Extra by Valeria Di Roma...

• Each ball has 100 grams and 240 metres.
• Its thickness is recommended to knit with the 3.5 - 4 mm knitting needles.
• To knit a long sleeves pull size 42 you will need 4 balls.
• To knit the same pull in a 44 you will need 5 balls and to do it in a size 46, you will need 6 balls.
• Mount 22 stitches and do 29 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• It can be washed in the machine at 40ºC.
• It is suitable to be ironed at low temperatures.
• Do not use the dryer.
• You should dry it horizontally.
• With the dralon® and Superwash treatments.
• Made in Spain.
