Product description

Texas by Valeria di Roma is a really sweet and warm yarn, made by just one strand of twisted yarn, that gives a soft and sweet texture.

It is a carded strand with different tones fibres. It has a soft speckled in white, that combines perfectly with all your autumn and winter clothes.

Its strand is not refined, so it gives an informal appearance.

The yarn Valeria di Roma Texas is made by:

  • 55% Wool
  • 45% Acrylic dralon®

The acrylic fibre with the dralon® treatment makes stronger the natural wool fibre, giving a high quality yarn, more resistant than others.

The wool fibre gives a nice and warm texture. You will love wearing it in the coldest days.

Its treatment offers an hypoallergenic yarn, perfect for all kind of skins.

You should know that Texas...

  • Each ball has 100 grams and 170 metres.
  • Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 6 - 7 mm knitting needles or the 5 mm crochet hooks.
  • To knit a pull, size 42, you will need more or less 4 - 5 balls.
  • Mount 12 stitches and do 19 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
  • It can be washed in the washing machine at 30ºC maximum.
  • You can iron it at low temperatures.
  • Do not dry it in the dryer, but horizontally.
  • Made in Spain.

This is the perfect yarn to knit everyday clothes like warm pulls, jackets, ponchos or other complements like cups, scarfs and a lot of warm sewing pieces.

The dralon treatment gives a sweet and nice appearance, idéal to be in contact with the skin.
